Terms and Conditions

Please note that these terms and conditions form the agreement between yourselves and us, therefore please read them carefully before completing the booking form.

1. Provisional bookings are held for 7 days to allow for the payment of deposit.

2. Your completed booking form, and deposit will be treated as an offer made by you to reserve the Chalet for the period shown on the booking form and we reserve the right to accept or reject the booking. If the booking is accepted by us, an acceptance note will be sent to you in writing and this will be deemed to constitute a legally binding agreement between us once the acceptance note is posted by us. By sending your completed booking form and deposit cheque you are deemed to have made your offer on the terms set out in these conditions. Following payment of the deposit the dates will be booked and deposits will not be returned. You are advised to take out holiday cancellation/curtailment insurance. Cancellations can only be accepted in writing and will be effective from the date of receipt. Our word will be final as to the date of our receipt of any cancellation notification.

3. Full payment must be made more than 40 days before the commencement of the holiday. You will remain responsible for the full payment for holidays not cancelled prior to 40 days before the commencement of the holiday. Should full payment not be received before this date we reserve the right to, at our discretion, let the Chalet to other parties. In the event that we are able to secure an alternative booking we may at our discretion limit your liability to the loss of the deposit or the difference between the full rate payable for the period and the rate for which we have been able to let the Chalet, whichever is the higher.

4. The Chalet will become available by 4.00 p.m. on the day of the commencement of your holiday and you must vacate the Chalet, by 10.30 a.m. on the last day of your holiday. Should you arrive before 4pm on the first day you may be able to access the facilities on site, however this is not guaranteed and does not form a part of this agreement.

5. The Chalet must be kept and left in a clean and tidy condition and all breakages replaced or paid for. Any damage caused to the Chalet, furniture, furnishings, equipment etc. must be reported and will be required to be made good to our satisfaction. Where, in our opinion, the Chalet requires enhanced cleaning following your departure, including to bedding or cleaning up from pets we reserve the right to make an additional charge for this which will be forwarded on to you. We will require this to be paid within 14 days.

6. The Chalet must not be used for any illegal purpose and no dangerous or illegal substances or firearms/offensive weapons can be brought into the Chalet. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of all persons within the Chalet, including children, and for ensuring that all items which may cause illness or injury are not accesible.

7. We are pet friendly, however you are required to ensure that pets do not cause damage or disturbance. Pets must never be left unattended in the chalet and it is your responsibility to ensure that nothing is left within their reach which may cause them injury/illness. Please bring your own pet bed, feeding bowls and utensils. Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst on the Holiday Park, and must not be taken into indoor public areas. Please clean up after your pet and refer to section 2 above.

8. No laundry or bathing garments must be hung out or displayed or exposed for drying outside the Chalet. Where laundry is dried inside the Chalet sufficient ventilation and heating must be used to prevent condensation forming in the Chalet.

9. Personal property left behind will be returned only following receipt of 2nd class postage stamps to the value of the postage & packing. Property remaining after 8 weeks will be disposed of. Pets, illegal substances or materials, or offensive weapons left behind will be taken to the appropriate authorities.

10. The Chalet must be used in a reasonable manner bearing in mind at all times the comfort of other holiday makers on the site and, in particular, no music or other instruments causing sounds audible to other persons outside the Chalet must be played between the hours of 11.00 p.m. and 9.00 a.m. We cannot be held responsible for the actions of other park users and should you suffer a disturbance/nuisance from other park users please report this to the reception area of the Welcome Family Park.

11. All cars and other vehicles including boats must be parked in the authorised parking areas and not parked outside the Chalet or on any roadway. All vehicles, the contents and your personal possessions are left at the park at their own risk and we are not responsible for any damage or loss. 12. IF A FIRE BREAKS OUT, OR ANY OTHER EMERGENCY OCCURS AT THE CHALET YOU ARE REQUESTED TO ADVISE US IMMEDIATELY BY TELEPHONE. We reserve the right to enter any accommodation in any emergency.

13. We regret we cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the booking is prevented from taking place by reason of circumstances which amount to "force majeure". Such circumstances include destruction or damage to the Chalet which cannot be made good to a satisfactory condition within a reasonable time, the closure of the holiday park for reasons beyond our control or governmental action or regulations which prevent us from continuing with the booking.

14. In the event that the Chalet becomes uninhabitable for whatever reason, by any event occurring prior to or during your holiday your rights are restricted to repayment of the amount paid for the period during which the Chalet cannot be occupied. Where multiple week booking discounts have been applied, the discount will be applicable to the last period of the booking.

15. You are permitted to use all appliances within the Chalet, however their use must be for the purpose for which they are intended and reasonable. The use of these appliances is not however a term of this agreement and we will not be liable for any costs you may incur as a result of sudden failure of any of the appliances. You must ensure that you are familiar with the operation of the appliance prior to use and take all reasonable steps to protect your health and safety and that of other persons who may reasonably be affected. Under no circumstances are you permitted to attempt a repair on any appliance. Failure of any appliance/s will not be considered sufficient to render the property uninhabitable.

16. The number in your party cannot exceed the capacity of the Chalet booked. Bookings are not accepted from anyone below 18 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse to hand over accommodation to any person we consider unsuitable.

17. Please note that you are booking the Chalet only and we are not responsible for the provision of, or the safety or the quality of any of the amenities on the site.

18. NO SMOKING is permitted in the Chalet.

19. Keys will normally be posted out in advance. You are responsible for ensuring we are aware of the correct address for these to be posted to and advising us should these not be received. In the event that you forget to bring the keys with you we will endeavour to get a set to you as soon as possible and reserve the right to pass on to you any charges relating to getting a set of keys to you.

20. The Chalet must be secured at all times when not occupied and upon leaving must be secured and keys must be placed in the letterbox. Failure to return the keys will result in a charge being made for the replacement of locks.

21. You are not under any circumstances permitted to take a copy of any keys relating to this property.
